Erkennen & waarderen programma

Nederland is een kennisland. Ons land kent hoogstaande universiteiten en universitair medische centra, vele gerenommeerde onderzoeksinstituten en onderzoeksfinanciers (VSNU, NLU, NFU, KNAW, NWO en ZonMw) – de deelnemers aan het programma ‘Erkennen en Waarderen’. Deze wetenschappelijke community draagt elke dag weer bij aan antwoorden op maatschappelijke en multidisciplinaire vraagstukken van vandaag, morgen en overmorgen. De uitdagingen vragen om meer samenwerking en om een multidisciplinaire en impactvolle manier van wetenschapsbeoefening met een daarbij passende manier van erkennen en waarderen.

Om ook in de toekomst onze kracht te behouden, is modernisering van het systeem van ‘erkennen en waarderen’ hard nodig. Deze ambitie vraagt om een wezenlijke cultuurverandering van samenwerking en wetenschapsbeoefening. Met meer diversiteit in de loopbanen van wetenschappers en met meer focus op wetenschappelijk onderwijs, onderzoek, impact, patiëntenzorg en leiderschap. Aan deze cultuurverandering werken we samen, met een brede coalitie van universiteiten, universitair medische centra, onderzoeksinstituten en onderzoeksfinanciers in het landelijke programma Erkennen en waarderen.
