Also at Wageningen University & Research (WUR) a Recognition & Rewards Committee is reviewing scientific career development, in line with the national initiative of VSNU/NFU/KNAW/NWO/ZonMw.
As part of this process the committee has developed a university-wide survey to understand what the core issues are for scientific staff. This survey is based on interviews with specific groups and persons within the organisation. In order to improve the university process of recognition & rewards the input of the academic staff is very valuable. After all, it is about their future and the way in which this is shaped within WUR. The results will be summarized in a public committee report, and used as input to help develop proposals to improve career development at the university.
