On Thursday the 13th of April 2023 the third Recognition & Rewards Festival took place. This time live at the University of Humanistic Studies in Utrecht. It was the first time the Recognition and Rewards programme was able to host an in-person festival. During the festival there was ample room for dialogue about the central theme ‘Rethinking Assessment’.

Looking back on the festival, we wrote a report covering the plenary programme. We also made an aftermovie to give a glimpse of the day.

For us the festival was a successful day full of interaction and inspiration. We thank all the participants, workshop moderators and speakers for their contribution. Organising this Recognition & Rewards Festival was a real team effort. We very much appreciated the active participation, input and the interest of the participants!

The festival was organised by the Recognition & Rewards Programme, a partnership between the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW), the Netherlands Federation of University Medical Centres (NFU), the Dutch Denominational Universities (NLU), the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO), the of Universities of the Netherlands (UNL) and the Netherlands Organisation for Health Research and Development (ZonMw).
